Happy Halloween!!!

Today was a very busy day for us. Amaya and I went out to lunch with our cousin Sarah, we visited Grandpa and Grandma Freed, and went to see Daddy at work! I could tell that we did a little too much today when she fell asleep in Daddy's arms when we visited him. Amaya dressed up as a pink teddy bear. Some people thought that she was a rabbit or a pig! Someone even asked if she was a boy or a girl. Seriously!

Jeremiah and I stayed home tonight a passed out candy to trick or treaters. We never have a ton of kids come to our house and so we have a lot of leftover candy! This is not a good thing for me, I just had three fillings put in last week. Jeremiah will have to finish it off for me;).

5 Months old!

Wow! Time has flown by so fast. Today Amaya is 5 months old. She has recently started grabbing/eating her feet and is very vocal now. She loves the sound of her voice! I am amazed at how much she has changed in the past few weeks, it's like I have a different baby. She is pretty content now and less fussy. She is also sleeping through the night again! YEAH!

Tomorrow is Halloween and I will be posting pics of her in her teddy bear costume!

Old Baby Pictures

I thought that you all might get a kick out of seeing pics of Amaya and I when we were about the same age. I can now see some similarities between us. I thought that she only looked like Jeremiah before. Amaya's head is definitely smaller than mine and not as chunky! It was fun comparing the pictures.

Today Amaya had her 4 month photo shoot. We think it went pretty well and are excited to see how they turn out. Here are a some of the photos I took of her afterward.

I am sleepy!

I am so tired! For the past week or so Amaya has been waking up several times in the middle of the night. We think it is because she is teething and going through a growth spurt. It has been frustrating, especially since everytime she wakes up she automatically wants to eat. She was sleeping 10-11 hours at a time before. I am hoping that she goes back to her regular sleeping pattern soon. I need my sleep!

Sweet Potatoes are scary!

Amaya has been blowing raspberries and making some new noises lately. I caught this on video tonight when she was trying her sweet potatoes. She didn't really know what to think about them...most of the potatoes ended up on her face and bib.Thanks for the cute ghost hat Aunt Krista and Uncle Jerome!
