4 Months Old!

Amaya is 4 months old today! The time has flown by fast! She seems like such a big girl now. She is still wearing her 0-3 months clothes! She is very petite and dainty. I am hoping that she will get to wear her cute 3-6 month clothes soon. I went a little crazy shopping at babygap this weekend:).

I take her for her 4 month check-up next week. I am anxious to see how much she has grown. I am also ready to start her on cereal, just waiting for the doctor's approval. I am so happy to be her mom! Happy 4 month Amaya Noel!

Cameraphobia

Jeremiah and I just purchased a new digital camera . We were excited to try it out on Amaya. She seemed ok until the red light on the camera flashed. I couldn't believe her reaction, she was scared to death! I just had to post these pictures. Enjoy!

Trip to Indiana and Michigan a success!

The trip was a success! Amaya slept all through the night on the way there and back. Jeremiah and I were very tired, but it was worth it for a quiet drive.

It was so nice to see my sister, the new baby, and her family. I didn't think that Amaya had grown much until I saw her next to a newborn. It's crazy to think that 4 months can make that much of a difference. Seriously, was she ever that small?

The wedding was a blast. It was fun catching up with my old camp friends again. I had forgotten how much fun we had together. I wish that I lived a little closer so that I could visit more often. Fun times!

Baby On Board

Tonight we start traveling to Indiana to see our new niece, Lydia Hope Trexler. She was born 9/17/07 at 10:57am. She weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. I will post pictures when we get back.

This will be our first real trip with Amaya. We have taken the occasional day trip to visit family in Topeka, Kansas, but that has been it. She really doesn't enjoy doing things out of the norm, so this should be interesting! We plan on leaving around 10pm and will travel through the night. She sleeps through the night now so hopefully our plan will work.

I am also singing at my friend's wedding on Friday in Michigan, and then we'll have breakfast with my grandpa on Saturday. Pray for us! We are very nervous about making this trip with Amaya. She hasn't been the easiest baby.

My First Blog

This is my very first blog. This blog is for my friends and family to see how life is ever changing for our family. A lot has happened in the past few months.

On May 30th, 2007 at 11:56pm I gave birth to Amaya Noel Estes. She weighed 7lbs 130z and was 20 1/4 inches long. She is now almost 4 months old and is keeping us busy!

I finished my last day of school exactly a week before Amaya was born and I am now a stay at home mom. I feel so blessed to be able to watch her grow. She has been such a blessing to Jeremiah and I. We look forward to every day with her.
